Full Moon Fiasco

The FBC is having its first Full Moon Fiasco for the year on January 30th. If you’re unfamiliar with the routine, here it is from the horse’s mouth: “It may be a new year but we are doing things the same way. Meet at The Swamp at 8 pm on Saturday, January 30th and try to bring a dollar for a spoke card donation. We’ll take a short ride and go listen to loud music for the low, low price of Free Fifty-Free. Sound like a plan?”

FBC Rides Again This Monday Night

If you’ve been putting off trying out a FBC Full Moon Bike Ride wait no longer. This Monday night, February 9, come another monthly ride starting at the Swamp at 8PM. It’s drinking and biking and some more drinking and biking. But never too much of either. The details are at the FBC site.

Snow is Coming. Let’s Ride.

The first big snowstorm of the year is being predicted for tonight. If you think that will slow tonight’s FBC Full Moon Festivus Fiasco bike ride you would be wrong. Calling all intrepid souls with functional fenders on their bikes; meet tonight at the Swamp Tavern at 8pm. Bonus points for decorating your bike and dressing up. Personally, I’m working on seeing how large I can make my bike’s carbon footprint. If snow riding is not your thing 49, Lookout, and Schweitzer all open this weekend, the Jingle Bell Run takes place tomorrow at 9AM in Riverfront Park, and if we’re lucky you can cross country ski out your front door on Saturday.
